Rider was 7-4 in the 11 games he started in 2011...was third on the 2011 team in innings pitched...earned the wins over Fairfield and Cleveland State...pitched the third game of the weekend MAAC series six times in 2011...compiled five strikeouts in seven innings at Siena...allowed one earned run in six and two-thirds innings of work in a 2011 Rider win at Marist...allowed one earned run in six and two-thirds innings of work at Canisius...Rider was 7-2 in the nine games he started in 2010...pitched 8.0 innings in his collegiate debut, striking out five while allowing one run without a walk...earned victories over Maryland Eastern Shore, NJIT and Saint Joseph's as a rookie...struck out six St. Joe Hawks in 8.0 shutout innings...seventh best (of 15) earned run average on 2010 team...started two MAAC games as a freshman, wins over Manhattan and Saint Peter's.

At Cherry Hill High School West:
Earned First Team All-Conference and First Team All-Group IV honors as a junior and a senior while earning Second Team All-South Jersey...his father Joe was an All-State soccer player.
