Biography
At Rider:
Biology major...as a sophomore, swam 2:04.46 in the 200 IM in a dual-meet against Seton Hall...as a Rider rookie, swam a season-best time in the 200 fly (1:56.33) at the 2014 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Championships, helping the Rider men win the team title…best 400 IM time (4:07.66) also came at MAACs…top 200 IM time came at Princeton’s Big Al (1:59.82) and he also swam a season-best 500 free time of 4:51.56 in the same meet.
At Miramonte High School:
Four-year letterwinner for swimming, competing in the 200IM and 500 free…North Coast Sectional Finalist in the 500 free and was the Diablo Foothill Athletic League Champion in the 500 free…Academic honoree (over a 3.5 grade point average) as a freshman and sophomore…personal: son of David and Rhonda Hoyh…hobbies include surfing, wake boarding, drag racing and running…plays the saxophone...four-year member of the USA Swimming Club Team Orinda Aquatics and competed in the California/Nevada Sectional meet in the summer of 2010 and 2011 and the winter of 2012.
