Son of George Puvel and Laura Day-Puvel... Brother played MLAX at Saint Vincent College where he was a All-ORLC team member as a Sophomore.. Griffin was a four-year varsity player, splitting time between Dematha and St. John's Catholic Prep. He is a two-time member of the National Honor Society.
