Jack Winsett joins the staff as assistant coach for the 2025 season after a stellar playing career as a Third Baseman for the Broncs. He will serve as the hitting coach and will work with the infielders as well as assisting with recruiting. Winsett earned two degrees from Rider: Bachelor's Degree in Business/Sport Management in 2023, and his Master's Degree in Athletic Leadership in 2025. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience with positive culture at Rider Baseball.Â
As a student-athlete, Winsett played in 191 games for the Broncs, with 172 starts, His career totals include 119 runs (22nd all-time), 169 hits (T32nd all-time), and 92 RBI's(T37th all-time). He was a part of two MAAC Championship teams along the way. In 2024, Winsett set the All-Time Rider and MAAC single season record for walks with 59 while also finishing the season with a 23 game on-base streak. The highlight of Winsett's career was going 2-for-5 with a run and 4 RBIs in the Broncs' NCAA Tournament win over number 10 national seed Coastal Carolina in Game one of the Conway Regional. His efforts earned him a spot on the NCAA Tournament All-Conway Regional Team. In 2023, Winsett made a total of 4 errors in 121 chances for a .968 fielding percentage.
