- Kinner was able to battle back through the blood rounds at the MAC Championships finishing 3rd and picking up his second straight NCAA bid. 

2021-22:
- NCAA Qualifier at 141 lbs.
- MAC Champion, defeating #20 Josh Mason (Bloomsburg) in the final
- Finished the year ranked #21
- Went 1-2 at NCAA’s, defeating former Ohio State teammate #14 Dylan D’Emilio in the opening round, 3-0
- Posted a 19-8 overall record, including a 9-4 mark in dual competition and a 6-1 record in MAC duals
- Pinned #17 Gabe Willochell (Edinboro) in a Jan. 22 dual
- Finished 7^th at the Southern Scuffle
- Wrestled tough against some of the top competition in the country, falling to eventual National Champion Nick Lee (Penn State), 6-3, in dual competition and 9-2 at NCAA’s, as well as a 7-3 decision vs. #3 Sebastian Rivera (Rutgers)

Before Rider:
Posted a 38-10 record over two seasons at Ohio State, including a redshirt year as a true freshman in 2018-19… Recorded seven pins, three tech falls and five major decisions in his two years with the Buckeyes… Made six starts as a redshirt freshman in 2019-20, including three in Big 10 action… Signature win with the Buckeyes was over Penn State’s Brady Berge… Crowned Champion at the Purple Raider Open and Greyhound Open at 157 lbs. in 2019-20… Ohio Intercollegiate Open and Michigan State Open Champion in 2018-19… Two-time New Jersey State Champion at Kingsway Regional… Top 20 recruit nationally by FloWrestling and Top 40 by Intermat… Posted a 167-8 record in high school… Beast of the East Champion and two-time finalist… Flo Nationals runner-up.
