2018-19:
- Won four singles matches, second-most on the team, including two in dual matches as the Broncs’ primary top singles player
- Also won once at No. 3 singles, taking a straight-sets decision in a Rider match victory over Coppin State (April 13)
- Picked up a MAAC victory over Niagara’s Lukas Wenninger, 6-1, 6-1, at No. 1
- Won three doubles matches, all with Peter Komosinski, including two at the No. 2 flight

2017-18:
- Played primarily in the No. 1 and 2 singles flights, posting a 2-0 record at No. 2 in dual matches
- Posted singles victories against competition from Lafayette and Coppin State
- Earned a pair of doubles victories, one each with Javier Melendez and Griffin Clark

Before Rider: 
2016 NJCAA Singles National Champion and an NJCAA All-American at No. 2 singles for Rockland Community College.

Personal: 
Son of Josefina and Jose Payano... Born in Dominican Republic... Has two sisters, Lais and Vilnya... A marketing major.
