- Finished sixth in the 110m hurdles at the MAAC Outdoor Championships with a college-best time of 15.57.
- Came in sixth in the 50m hurdles at the MAAC Indoor Championships with a time of 8.51.
- Ran a college-best time of 8.47 in the 60m hurdles during prelims at the MAAC Indoor Championships.
- Ran a college-best time of 7.42 in the 60 meter at the Lehigh Season Opener.

Before Rider
Earned six varsity letters in track and field, three for indoor and three for outdoor, also lettered in cross country at Absegami High School... indoor best performance of 7.83 in the 55mh. Group 3 South Jersey runner up in the 55mh... best times in outdoor include 14.99 in the 110mh. Group 3 runner up in the 110mh. The 2017 Atlantic County Champion in the 110mh.

Majoring in Criminal Justice...son of Doi and Kimberly Nguyen...older sisters Kathy and Lisa, older brother Michael...hobbies include playing video games.
