Biography

At Rider:
Double major in Sociology and Psychology with a Law and Justice minor...as a junior at the 2009 MAAC championships, broke her own MAAC records and set two Loyola pool records winning the 100 back (56.01) and 200 back (2:00.30)... was a member of the winning 400 free relay that clinched the MAAC Title...was also a member of the second place 200 medley relay and placed third in the 200 IM (2:06.43)...at the 2009 ECAC championships, was part of the winning 200 free relay team that set an ECAC record with a time of 1:35.37...also second in the 200 back and third in the 100 back...as a sophomore, at the 2008 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference championships, won the 100 back in a Loyola pool and Rider record time of 57.28...also won the 200 back in a MAAC and Rider record time of 2:01.80 and placed third in the 50 free (24.36)...at the 2008 Eastern College Athletic Conference championships, won the 200 back (2:01.87) and was second in the 100 back (57.22)...won the 100 back (57.87) as the Broncs defeated MAAC-rival Marist...was a double-winner in Rider's MAAC win over Loyola, finishing first in the 100 back (59.09) and 200 back (2:10.08)...also won the 100 back (58.36) and 200 back (2:08.29) in Rider's win at Lafayette...broke the Rider record in the 100 back (56.89) at Princeton's Big Al Invitational...as a freshman, at the 2007 MAAC championships, won the 100 free (52.65), the 50 free (24.83) and the 100 backstroke (57.85)...was part of the winning 200 free relay, placed second in the 200 medley relay (1:47.49), 400 medley relay (3:59.87) and 400 free relay (3:35.89)...at the 2007 ECAC championships won the 100 back (57.51), placed third in the 50 free (24.48) and swam on the winning 200 free relay (1:37.71) and the third place 400 free relay (3:36.97).

At Vernon Township High School:
Was a four-year varsity letterwinner...in 2006 earned All-America honors and was second in the state of New Jersey in the 100 free and 100 back...named All-West Jersey as a senior...still holds six team records and two county titles...three-time Scholastic All-American...Personal: daughter of John Tomasula and Mary Katherine Streisel, has two sisters Katrina and Kim.
