Biography
At Rider:
Management major...as a junior, put up his best times of the year in 500 free (4:46.35), 1000 free (9:52.76), and 1650 free (16:32.51) at the 2010 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference championships to help the team finish second overall...as a sophomore at the 2009 MAAC championships, won the 1000 free in a MAAC record time of 9:24.80 and won the 1650 free (15:54.55)...placed second in the 500 free (4:33.57)...at the 2009 Eastern College Athletic Conference championships, finished fifth in the 1650 free (16:04.19) and was sixth in the 500 free (4:34.87)...as a freshman, placed third in the 1000 free (9:37.91) and the 500 free (4:36.64) and fourth in the 1650 free (16:20.71) at the 2008 MAAC championships...won the 500 free (4:49.79) helping the Broncs defeat Lafayette in a dual meet.
At Kennedy High School:
Earned All-State honors in 200 free and 500 free as a senior, 500 as a junior...served as team captain...team MVP as a senior...set school records in 500 free and 400 free relay...nominated for Minnesota Swimmer of the year...four-time State qualifier...Personal: son of Steve and Camille Kohner...C.
