Biography
At Rider:
Psychology major...first name is Robert, goes by his middle name Garrett...as a sophomore during the 2014-15 indoor season, ran the 400 in 54.88 at Army…during the 2015 outdoor season was fifth in the pole vault at the 2015 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference championships with a height of 13’11.25” and also ran the 400 hurdles (59.80)…was second at the Phoenix Invitational in the pole vault with a height of 12’0”…as a Rider rookie, had his best indoor pole vault of 12'7.5" at the Saturday Shootout in New York...during the outdoor season, ran 59.78 in the 400 meter hurdles at the 2014 MAAC championships, finishing 10th and his best pole vault height of 12'9.5" also came at MAACs and was also good for 10th place.
At Queensbury High School:
Two year letterwinner as a jumper, hurdler and mid-distance runner…was named Second Team All-Conference…was a sectional runner up…ran one year of Cross Country where he went from a junior varsity extra to the number four varsity runner on the ninth ranked state team and earned Second Team All-Conference…wrestled for five years, earning two varsity letters as the team won league and sectional titles from 2009-12.
