At Rider:
Team captain...Communication major...two-time Rider Female Athlete of the Year...qualified for NCAAs for the second year in a row as a junior, finishing 20th on the one-meter and 24th on the three-meter board... Rider Athlete of the Month (January, March 2009)...MAAC Outstanding Diver of the Meet after setting a MAAC and Loyola pool record on both the one-meter and three-meter boards at the 2009 championships...at the USA Swimming Nationals, Burke placed 10th in the one-meter and 11th in the three-meter...MAAC Diver of the Week seven times last season...as a sophomore, named the Rider University Female Athlete of the Year after becoming the first Bronc swimmer or diver to qualify for NCAA's...35th at NCAA's on the three-meter and 39th on the one-meter...at the NCAA Zone 'A' Regional, placed second on the one-meter (553.10) and fifth on the three-meter... named to the 2008 Division I Women's Mid-Major All-America Swimming and Diving team by collegeswimming.com...Female Diver of the Meet at both the 2008 Eastern College Athletic Conference championships and the 2008 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference championships...Rider Female Athlete of the Month (November 2007, March, 2008)...won the one-meter dive, breaking her own MAAC and Rider record with a score of 294.40 at MAAC's and won the three-meter with a MAAC and Loyola pool record of 495.65...won the three-meter dive (305.50) and one-meter dive (281.25) at ECAC's...four-time MAAC Diver of the Week...won either the one-meter or three-meter 12 times in meet competition...as a rookie, was named February 2007 Rider Athlete of the Month for her performance at both the ECAC and the MAAC Championships...at the 2007 MAAC Championships won the one-meter dive (260.40) and finished fourth on the three-meter (383.65)...at the 2007 ECAC Championships won the three-meter (285.95) and took a close second on the one-meter (253.41)...at the NCAA Zone Championships finished eighth on the one-meter board (487.25) and placed 22nd on the three-meter (216.25).
At William Tennent High School:
Was a three-year varsity letter winner...as a senior finished fourth at PIAA State Championships and was awarded MVP honors. Personal: daughter of Richard and Karen Burke, has a sister Allison.
