2017-18
- Named to the MAAC All-Academic Team.
- Named the Men’s Most Outstanding Swimmer of the Meet at the MAAC Championships.
- Named the Rider Athlete of the Month in February.
- Named the MAAC Men’s Swimmer of the Week four times during the year.
- Won gold and set a new MAAC record as part of the 800 free relay at the MAAC Championships.
- Won gold and set a new MAAC record in the 50 free at the MAAC Championships.
- Won gold and set a new MAAC record as part of the 200 free relay at the MAAC Championships.
- Won gold and set a new MAAC record as part of the 400 free relay at the MAAC Championships.
- Won gold and set a new MAAC record in the 200 free at the MAAC Championships.
- Won six gold medals and one silver at the 2018 MAAC Championships.
2016-17
- He was named the Rider Co-Male Athlete of the Year for the second year in a row.
- He was the MAAC Swimmer of the Meet at the conference championships for the second straight year.
- Set two new ECAC records, five new MAAC Records and four new Rider records at major events and championships during the season.
- Was named the CollegeSwimming.Com Division I National Male Swimmer of the Week for the second time in his career.
- Won six gold medals and one silver at the MAAC Championships as Rider captured its sixth straight conference team title.
- Set new MAAC Records in the 100 free and 200 free while winning the events.
- He also won gold in the 50 free and second in the 200 medley relay.
- Set new MAAC records in the 200 free relay, 400 free relay and the 800 free relay at the MAAC Championships.
- He took home three gold medals at the ECAC Championships as Rider finished in second-place overall.
- Set new ECAC records in the 100 free and 200 free.
- Also won gold as part of the 400 free relay quartet that set a new Rider Record at ECAC Championships.
- Was twice named as the MAAC Swimmer of the Week.
- Named to the MAAC All-Academic Team.
2015-16
- 2015-16 Rider Co-Male Athlete of the Year.
- 2016 MAAC Swimmer of the Meet at the conference championships.
- Won three MAAC gold medals (100 free, 200 free, 500 free) and was part of four MAAC and Rider record setting relays, the 200 medley, the 800 free, the 200 free and 400 free as he led the Broncs to their fifth conference title in a row in 2016.
- In the 200 free, Molloy repeated as conference champion with a time of 1:36.87, bettering his own Rider and MAAC record and he helped the 800 free relay to a repeat MAAC Title as well.
- Named the MAAC Swimmer of the Week three times.
- Named to the MAAC All-Academic Team.
2014-15
- In the summer of 2015, at the Phillips 66 USA Swimming National Championships, Molloy swam a time trial in the 400 long course meter freestyle, coming in with a personal record time of 4:04.51 and besting his lifetime mark by almost three seconds and he swam the 200 long course meter free and swam 1:52.87, finishing only a second off his lifetime best. In the 100 long course meter free, Molloy posted a time of 52.25.
- As a Rider rookie, was named Rider Athlete of the Month two times after earning MAAC Performer of the Week three times.
- Also earned ECAC Performer of the Week honors.
- Won MAAC gold in the 200 free (1:37.19) and 500 free (4:22.74) at the 2015 MAAC Championships and was second in the 100 free (45.54) as Rider won its fourth straight conference championship.
- Both the 200 free and 500 free times are MAAC and Rider records.
- Rider record in the 1650 free (15:28.11) came at the 2015 ECAC Championships.
- Also owns the Rider record in the 1000 free (9:18.46) and was on the winning 800 free relay that set a MAAC and Rider record (6:38.65).
BEFORE RIDER
Attended Toms River High School North… Four-year letter winner for swimming, competing in the freestyle events…was a New Jersey state champion in the 100 and 200 free and set meet records at the NJSIAA Meet of Champions… National YMCA champion and record holder in the 200 free…academic honor roll all four years.
PERSONAL
Accounting and Information Systems major… son of William and Mary Lue Molloy…siblings Michael, Margaret, Brian, William and Marianne…older brother Brian is a Rider swimming grad (Class of 2013) and older brother William is on the swimming team at Rider (Class of 2017)…Michael and Margaret were NCAA All-American swimmers at The College of New Jersey…Brian was a MAAC champion and Rider’s Male Athlete of the Year for 2012-13…William is also a MAAC champion…hobbies include surfing, video games and watching television…in the summer of 2016, participated at the United States Olympic Trials in the 200 free.
