Biography

2017-18:
- Earned an at-large bid to NCAA’s at 125
- Posted a 17-8 record, including a 13-4 mark in dual matches
- Finished 3rd at the EWL Championships
- Named EWL Wrestler of the Week on Dec. 31 after defeating then-No. 17 Barlow McGhee (Missouri) at the South Beach Duals
- Finished 2nd at the Keystone Classic
- Reached the championship bout at EWL’s before falling to Edinboro’s Sean Russell

2016-17:
- Won 15 matches, including a 10-2 mark in dual matches
- Went 3-2 in EWL action and 2-2 at EWL Championships
- 2nd at Southeastern Open
- 4th at Journeyman Classic

2015-16:
- Redshirted the 2015-16 season

2014-15:
- Won 14 matches in 2014-15 at 125, including two in the EWL Tournament to place third
- Placed fourth at the 2014 Keystone Classic

2013-14:
- Redshirted the 2013-14 season
- Wrestling unattached, won 10 of 13 matches with three falls
- Went 3-1 at the Hokie Open

At Christiansburg High School:
Was ranked fifth in the nation as a senior at 120 pounds by Flo Wrestling and 10th by InterMat...a four-time Virginia State Champion, three at Christiansburg and was also a state champion at Morgan County (HS)...Beast of the East champion.
