Biography

2017-18:
- Posted a 14-12 overall record, including a 5-1 mark in EWL matches
- Finished 3rd at EWL’s and 6th at the Keystone Classic
- Won three matches by fall
- Earned a win at the NWCA All-Star Classic over nationally-ranked and two-time All-American Alec Pantaleo of Michigan
- Took victories against national qualifiers Joe Velliquette (Penn) and Alex Klucker (Lock Haven)

2016-17:
- NCAA Qualifier
- EWL Champion
- Wrestled from a pigtail match all the way to one win away from All-American status at NCAA’s
- Defeated Cal Poly’s Colt Shorts, eighth-seeded Jake Short of Minnesota and Arizona State’s James Shields to reach the NCAA Quarterfinals.
- Fell in the blood round by an 8-7 score to Virginia Tech’s Sal Mastriani to fall just short of his second All-American honor
- Posted a 24-7 record, including a 13-0 mark in dual matches and a 6-0 record in EWL matches
- Finished 2nd at the Southeast Open
- Was 4th at the Journeyman Classic
 
2015-16:
- NCAA Qualifier
- EWL runner-up
- Won 21 matches, including two at NCAAs
- 3rd at 2016 EWL’s, was third seed, defeated second seed but lost to All-American top seed
- Placed sixth at Midlands
- Was ranked 20th in the Coaches Poll, 17th by InterMat at the end of 2016 dual meet season
- Began the 2015-16 season at the Coaches’ All-Star Classic
 
2014-15:
-2014-15 Rider Athlete of the Year
- First Rider student-athlete to earn All-American honors as a freshman in any sport
- Placed fifth in the NCAA at 149 pounds
- 15th seed at NCAA’s and defeated the fifth, eighth, 13th and 16th seeds
- 2015 EWL Championship Tournament Most Outstanding Wrestler
- Became the first Bronc to defeat a #1 ranked wrestler
- Lost 2-1 and 2-0 to the defending National Champion, going 6-2 at the NCAA’s
- EWL Rookie of the Year
- Named to 2015 Amateur Wrestling News All-Rookie Team
- Won by fall to give Rider a 21-15 win at Hofstra
 
2013-14:

At Toms River High School South:
Won four NHSCA National Championships, one of only three wrestlers to ever achieve that, and two NJSIAA State Championships at Toms River South.  He was ranked third in the nation at 145 pounds as a senior...compiled a 155-6 scholastic record...was the tenth highest ranked recruit in all weight classes according to InterMat.
