At Rider:
Graduated with a Biology and Marine Sciences dual major...career objective is to work at Sea World…as a senior, won MAAC silver in the 100 breast (55.02) and took fourth place in the finals of the 50 free (21.18) as Rider won its fifth straight team title at the 2016 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Championships…also swam on two MAAC record setting relays, the 200 medley (1:29.13) and the 400 medley (3:17.72) that both won MAAC gold…finished fifth in the 100 breast (55.95) at the 2016 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championships as Rider placed third as a team…top time of 2:04.82 in the finals of the 200 breast came at Princeton’s Big Al…as a junior swam his best 100 breast (56.01) and 200 IM (1:54.13) times at the 2015 MAAC Championships as Rider won the team title for the fourth year in a row…swam his best 200 breast (2:03.38) time at the 2015 ECAC Championships…as a sophomore, won MAAC gold in the 100 breast (56.39) as the Rider men won the team title for the third season in a row...was also part of the gold medal 200 medley relay (1:31.88) and 400 medley relay that took gold with a time of 3:21.76 and was part of the 200 free relay (1:23.14) that won MAAC silver...set a Rider record in the 100 breast at the CSCAA meet (55.64)...named the Rider Co-Most Improved Swimmer in 2013 with Shane Tubb…as a Rider rookie, finished fifth in the 100 breast with a preliminary time of 56.14, sixth in the 200 breast (2:05.18) and 10th in the 50 free (21.26 prelim) at the 2013 MAAC Championships as Rider won the team title…swam the 200 IM at the ECAC Swimming & Diving Open Championship, finishing second…in a MAAC dual meet against Loyola Maryland, finished second in the 100 free and 100 breast…in a quad meet against Rutgers, Fordham and Yale, finished second in the 100 breast…in a dual meet against MAAC-rival Saint Peter’s, finished second in the 100 breast…second in the 100 breast (56.14), third in the 200 breast (2:05.18) and 10th in the 50 free (21.26) on the Short Course Yard top 10.

At Elk Lake High School:
Four-year letterwinner, swimming the IM and breaststroke...team captain...Times-Tribune Swimmer of the Year as a junior...four-time state medalist and was a PIAA Class AA State runner-up in the 100 breast (58.04) and was a fifth place medalist in the 200 IM (1:57.75) as a senior...three-time district champion and three-time All-Region selection...four-year letterwinner in baseball, earning the All-Region batting title and was the team MVP...also lettered twice in golf...student council...National Honor Society...high honor roll...prom steering committee and member of the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA)...hobbies include hunting, fishing and four-wheeling...Personal: son of James and Ann Marie Phillips...older brother Ben and younger sister Rebecca.
