Possessed the highest batting average on both the 2011 team and the 2009 team, and was fifth on the 2010 team...appeared in three games as a junior...collected a hit in his first at bat last season, at Virginia...had an assist from behind the plate in win at Cleveland State...in 2010 appeared in three games as a pinch hitter...pinch ran and scored at Rutgers...singled in a 2010 win over Lafayette...batted 1.000 as a freshman...collected an RBI single in win over LIU in 2009...earned First Team All-Conference, First Team All-Group 3 and First Team All-South Jersey honors at Nottingham High School, leading his team to the Mercer County Tournament Championship...was a member of the National Honor Society...father David is an Associate Professor at Rider, uncle Jeff Pierfy played baseball for Rider in the 1960s...Business Administration major.
