Biography
At Rider:
Accounting major...as a junior, named to the MAAC All-Academic team...finished in 52.41 in the 100 Fly at the 2012 MAAC Championships...finished in 1:57.78 in the 200 Fly at the 2012 MAAC Championships...swam a 1:57.72 in the 200 Back at the 2012 MAAC Championships...as a freshman, finished 13th in the 200 fly (2.00.10), was 14th in the 100 back (55.86) and 16th in the 100 fly (53.06) at the 2010 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference championships to help the team finish second overall...at the 2009 Bucknell Invitational was 18th in the 200 fly (2:01.28).
At Lakeville North High School:
Five-year varsity letterwinner...two time All-America consideration...four time All-State and All-Conference honoree...Academic All-America honors...Personal: son of Terry and Carol Mitchell, older brother Scott is also a member of the Rider swim team and has a younger brother Tim.
