The Broncs responded immediately in the bottom half.
Kyle Neri worked a leadoff walk, and
Anthony Paskell followed with an RBI double to center field.

Rider added another four-run frame in the eighth to put the game out of reach.
Erich Hartmann walked to begin the inning and later scored on Neri's RBI double. Paskell followed with an RBI single before Shuhet lined his MAAC-leading fifth triple of the season down the right field line to plate another run. Medlock later added an RBI single to close the scoring at 11-2.
Quotes and Notes
"I think every time teams play us, they raise their level because we're one of the top teams in the conference. Everybody wants to beat us, so we knew it was going to be a tough game. I thought we weathered the storm well today and then got some big hits from Paskell, Chuck and Shuhet. Once we got rolling offensively, the momentum carried over because hitting is contagious. Those two big innings were huge for us.
Our goal is to continue playing solid fundamental baseball. Tomorrow, we have to do a better job getting off to a quicker start. If we can get another win tomorrow, we'll put ourselves in position to claim the regular season title, so we need to come back ready to play well again tomorrow and Saturday."
