What You Need To Know
- The Broncs return to action Friday, hosting Mount St. Mary's for the final conference series of the season.
- Prior to Saturday's game the team will honor its outgoing senior class of Fallyn Stoeckel (Nutley, NJ/Nutley) and Maddie Luedtke (Gibbstown, NJ/Gloucester County Institute of Technology).
- Last time out, and Kendall Reda-Fehsal (Succasunna, NJ/Roxbury) hit her MAAC-leading 12th home run of the season to help Rider get a doubleheader split against .
- Rider was picked sixth in the preseason coaches poll with 2025 All-MAAC Second Team selection Reda-Fehsal being selected to the Preseason All-MAAC Team at infield. Fellow 2025 Second-Team All-MAAC honoree Abby Cruz (Corona, CA/Santiago) returns behind the plate and Aspen Wheeler (Lampasas, TX/Lampasas) returns after a MAAC All-Rookie Team campaign in 2025.
- Rider clinches a spot in the upcoming MAAC Tournament with two wins in this weekend's series.
- Reda-Fehsal was named MAAC Player of the Week Mar. 24 after helping the Broncs to a 3-1 week. She hit a three-run double and scored in Rider's 4-3 win over Princeton, then capped the week with a walk-off grand slam to secure Rider's sweep of Army West Point. She was named MAAC Player of the Week for the second time this season following her performance against Lehigh and Canisius.
- The Broncs are leading the MAAC this season and rank 93rd nationally, averaging 5.63 runs per game. The offense has been led by extra base hits with the Broncs leading the MAAC and ranking 63rd in the country in doubles per game and sitting second in the conference in slugging percentage.
- Reda-Fehsal leads the MAAC this season with 12 home runs and 44 RBIs. She is also in the top 10 in the conference in hits, slugging percentage and OPS.
- Luedtke leads the MAAC with a .705 slugging percentage and 1.153 OPS. She is also second in the MAAC with 37 runs scored and top 10 in the MAAC with 10 home runs, 32 RBIs, a .375 batting average, and four sacrifice flies on the season.
- Cruz is third on the team so far this year with 32 RBIs and among the leaders in the conference with 10 doubles along with with St. Cyr. Stoeckel, who hit a double against Quinnipiac giving her 100 hits for her career, is just behind the duo with nine doubles.
- In addition to Stoeckel, Reda-Fehsal and Luedtke both hit home runs for the 100th career hit in both of their respective careers. Cruz reached the 100 career hit mark with a single against Saint Peter's and Buchanan became the fifth Bronc to reach the mark this year against Canisius.
- Rider is one of just three teams in the nation (UC Santa Barbara and Youngstown St.) to have five active players with 100 or more career hits.
- Gabi Rodriguez (Chula Vista, CA/Olympian) has been the best arm for the Broncs this season with a 3.45 ERA and 10-8 record across 113.2 innings. Stockel has produced an 12-10 record with a 4.99 ERA in 141.2 innings on the year.
- The Mountaineers are 17-28 overall and 12-12 in MAAC play. Avery Dinges leads the Mount offense with a .375 average, scoring a team-high 35 runs, and she is currently leading the nation with 39 stolen bases.
