EDISON, NJ – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference announced selections for softball weekly awards and Kendall Reda-Fehsal was selected as Jersey Mikes MAAC Player of the Week for the second time this season.
 
The junior hit .417 (5-for-12) with three home runs and 12 RBIs in a 3-1 week for the Broncs. In the win over Lehigh, the junior hit a pair of home runs to help Rider to a 9-8 win. In the first game of the series against Canisius, she hit a two-run double in the bottom of the fifth to break a 3-3 tie in an eventual 5-3 victory. In the series finale against the Golden Griffins, she broke the game open turning a 3-0 lead into a 7-0 lead with a grand slam to help secure the series win.
 
The Broncs are back in action Saturday with a doubleheader at Fairfield. First pitch is scheduled for noon.
