Women’s Cross Country Places Well During Friday’s Paul Short Run

BETHLEHEM, PA – The Rider University women's cross country team rounded out a 23^rd place finish amongst a field of 37 teams at this Friday's Paul Short Run.

"The women ran great today. They beat a bunch of good teams. They did a really nice job of managing the weather today. It was a tough race and I'm really proud of their effort. We showed today that we are a good team. We made huge strides forward today. Maddie [Dischert] ran outstanding today. She moved up really well throughout the race. Her patience was the key to her success. She was knocking on the door of this big breakthrough. I'm really excited for her today." – Head Coach Bob Hamer

Leading the pack for the Broncs was Maddie Dischert, who placed 27^th in the Gold 6K race with a time of 21:21.8.
Liz Fis checked in at 123^rd with a time of 22:21.7 while Nicole Dauberman finished in 131^st with a time of 22:28.5.
Olivia Bortz and Faith Evans placed 206^th and 213^th with times of 23:04.0 and 23:08.2 respectively. Ashley Doyle placed 223^rd with a time of 23:15.3 while Rebekah Hickey and Victoria Botte placed 245^th and 248^th with times of 23:40.5 and 23:41.8.
Riley Servis placed 276^th with a time of 24:14.1 and Kaelyn Barker placed 297^th with a time of 24:39.8.
