Men's Golf Finishes 9th at Columbia Fall Invite

Bilson finishes 8th individually

LAKE PLACID, NY – Andrew Bilson (Lititz, PA/Manheim Township) shot two under individually as the Rider University men's golf team finished 9th out of 13 teams (877, +25) at the Columbia Autumn Invite Sunday at Lake Placid Club Links. Bilson shot 68-71-72-211 (-2) and finished eighth individually.

Nathan Tallinder (Madison, NJ/Madison [Hartford]) shot 77 (+6) Sunday and finished 25th individually at 217 (+4) for the tournament. Jacob Delaney (Stockton, CA/Saint Mary's) shot the Broncs' top round on the day at even-par 71, including an eagle on the Par 5, 504-yard 13th hole. He finished the tournament at 220 (+7), good for 39th.

Riley Richards (East Montpelier, VT/U-32 [Franklin Pierce]) and Luke Canino (Washington Township, NJ/Washington Township) rounded out the Broncs' line-up at 233 (+20) and 235 (+22) respectively.


NOTES
- Host Columbia took the team title at 840 (-12), a stroke ahead of Dartmouth (841, -11).
- Niagara (853, +1, 4th) and Manhattan (873, +21, 8th) also represented the MAAC at the tournament.
- Dartmouth's Luke Harper took medalist honors as the top individual at nine under (204).
- Bilson carded 13 birdies over his three rounds, while Tallinder had 10 birdies.
- Canino was next on the team with nine birdies.

The Broncs return to action Sunday, Oct. 12, when they begin play at the three-day, three-round Bucknell Fall Invitational at Bucknell Golf Club in Lewisburg, PA.
