PORTLAND, OR – Rider University graduate
Teagan Schein-Becker won the High Performance 800 at the Portland Track Festival Sunday night, completing the race in 2:00.55, which would break the Rider Record and likely qualify for Olympic Trials.
"Teagan was incredible tonight," said Rider Director of Cross Country, Track & Field. "This was a huge performance on a big stage. She was a bit down last night after the 1500 final because she thought she could have finished better. Today was a chance to really show what she could do with a big opportunity. I'm really proud of her and how she rises to the occasion. This gives her some great momentum going into the Olympic Trials."
