EDISON, NJ – Grace Medei (Bethlehem, PA/Notre Dame Green Pond) was named MAAC Track Performer of the Week, the league office today announced. 

The award comes after Medei broke the Rider record for the 5000m event, finishing in 16:41.95. Medei broke Meg McGarrity 2017 record of 17:02.64. Medei broke the record at the Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener hosted by Boston University on Saturday. 

The Broncs return to action after the holiday break when they travel to Staten Island, NY to compete at the Spartan Invitational at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Center on Jan. 10.
