EASTON, PA – The Rider University women's swimming and diving team returned to action Saturday, falling at Lafayette, 184-110. The Broncs fall to 3-5, while the Leopards improve to 2-5.
The Bronc women won four events in the meet.
Megan Smith (Philadelphia, PA/Nazareth Academy) and
Casey McLaughlin (Ramsey, NJ/Ramsey) finished one-two in the 1,000-free, touching the wall at 10:56.73 and 11:01.58.
Suriya Pathammavong (Rochester, NY/Churchville Chili) earned a win in the 200-breast, stopping the clock at 2:33.10.
Hannah Yemec (Bluffton, SC/May River) got the Broncs final individual win of the day, winning the 100-fly in 59.34.
Rider closed out the day with a win in the 200-free relay.
Connar Melcher (Mohnton, PA/Governor Mifflin), Yemec,
Maddie McSorley (Philadelphia, PA/Nazareth Academy), and
Alexa Torres (Lyndhurst, NJ/Lyndhurst) combined to stop the clock at 1:43.80.

Maiti O'Connor (South Plainfield, NJ/The Wardlaw-Hartridge School) on the 3-meter.
