JACKSONVILLE, FL- Teagan Schein-Becker would cap off her incredible season for the Broncs by finishing 16th overall in the 1500m at the NCAA East Regionals in Jacksonville, FL.
Schein-Becker would run a 4:16.12 missing out on punching her ticket to the NCAAs by less than 2 seconds. Schein-Becker would reach the NCAA quarterfinals after finishing 7th yesterday running a 4:19.09 time was good for a top-ten finish.Â
Schein-Becker caps off an outstanding year as in 2023 the Trappe, PA native would break multiple Rider records including in the 1500m, when in late March when she ran a 4:10.42 which ranked as the 10th fastest time in the country. Schein-Becker is also coming off an excellent MAAC Championships where she won the 1500m and the 800m and was named the 2023 MAAC Track Most Outstanding Performer.
