RALEIGH, NC- Teagan Schein-Becker was able to crush the Rider record in the 1500m as she and
Jordan O'Neill started their 2023 Outdoor season down in North Carolina for the Raleigh Relays hosted by NC State.
Schein-Becker ran a 4:10.42 which was over eight seconds faster than her previous Rider record in the 1500m of 4:18.32 which she set at the Penn Relays last season. The opening weekend mark would also have ranked top 5 in the country last season.
O'Neill also had a strong showing running a new outdoor PR in the 5000m with a time of 17:21.81 down in Raleigh. O'Neill previously ran a 17:14.66 during the indoor season at the BU John Thomas Terrier Classic.
