NEW YORK, NY– The Rider University Women's Track and Field team wrapped up competition at the Armory for the RU Scarlet Knight Open.
Gabby Vetere was able to break into the Rider top three in the pole vault with a 3.53m mark at the RU Scarlett Knight Open. The freshman vaulter has been able to break her previous mark in every meet this season, breaking her previous PR of 3.45m.
Rider also got another impressive outing from Samantha Kamara, who finished fourth overall in the event with a 13.20m throw.
Mariah Stephens was again able to find success on the weekend as she had a pair of ECAC/IC4A qualifying times in the 60H (8.72) and the 60m(7.82) hitting her second and third PR's on the weekend.
