Manhattan is hosting the event at Twin Ponds on the Farm in Montgomery, NY. The day kicks off with the women's race at 11 a.m. and is followed by the men's race at 12 p.m. The women's race will be a 6K and the men will compete on an 8K course.

- The top-15 individual runners on the men's and women's sides will earn All-MAAC honors. The top-five freshman finishers for the men and women will be named to the MAAC All-Rookie Team.

- The Rider men were picked fourth and the women were tabbed fifth in the MAAC Preseason Coaches' Poll.

- The 2022 MAAC Championships were contested at The Crossings of Colonie in Loudonville, NY. The men finished fourth and the women were fifth. Teagan Schein-Becker earned All-MAAC honors, finishing 10th for the women, while Tamrat Snyder finished 13th in taking All-MAAC for the men.

- Sarah Eskew was the Broncs' top finisher in Rider's first two races of the year – the New Jersey Jam at Princeton and the Jasper Fall XC Invitational, hosted by Manhattan. After finishing second among Rider harriers in both of those races, Jordan O'Neill has paced the Broncs in each of their last two meets – the Paul Short Run Gold Race and ECAC Championships.

- Snyder has been a consistent force for the Broncs all season, finishing atop the leaderboard among Broncs in each of their four meets this Fall. Included in the success was a second-place finish at the Jasper Fall XC Invitational in 24:35.4, while his top time of the season came at the Paul Short Run Brown Race, finishing in 25:22.2 to take 17th.

- Gobi Thurairajah and Noah Taylor have also been consistent for the Broncs this season, with each finishing second among Rider harriers on two occasions. Thurairajah took second at the New Jersey Jam and Paul Short Run Brown Race, while Taylor took second behind Snyder at the Jasper Fall XC Invitational and IC4A Championships. Taylor ran his top 8K time of the season at IC4A's (24:59.5), while Thurairajah was consistent at 25:21.5 at the Jasper Fall XC Invitational and 25:23.3 at the Paul Short Run, before sitting out at IC4A's.
