LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ – The Rider University women's swimming and diving team was defeated by Lehigh Saturday, 211-78. The Broncs fall to 0-3 on the season, while the Mountain Hawks improve to 2-1.
The Bronc women won two events in the meet.
Maiti O'Connor (South Plainfield, NJ/The Wardlaw-Hartridge School) earned a win on the 1-meter with a score of 223.13.
The Broncs closed out the meet with a win the 400-free relay.

Connar Melcher (Mohnton, PA/Governor Mifflin),
Mallory Mead (Middle River, MD/Dulaney[Oklahoma Christian]), and
Megan Smith (Philadelphia, PA/Nazareth Academy) combined for a time of 3:42.56 to earn first-place points in the event.
NOTES & QUOTES
- Smith and Mead finished two-three in the 1,000-free. Mead also took second in the 200-back. Smith would later take second in the 500-free.

Sarah Fondacaro (Sewell, NJ/Washington Twp.) swam second in the 100-breast. Fondacaro and
Meaghan Keegan (Jersey Shore, PA/Jersey Shore Area) finished two-three in the 200-breast.
- Yemec finished third in the 200-fly and second in the 100-fly.
- O'Connor also finished third on the 3-meter.
