STATEN ISLAND, NY – Mariah Stephens was able to pick up an ECAC/IC4A qualifying mark as she won the 60m hurdles as the Rider University Women's Track & Field team competed at the Wagner College Invitational at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex. Stephens finished with a time of 8.76 for her second first-place finish of the young season. 

Rider also got quality performances from  Lydia Wallace, Hailey Palmer, and Teagan Schein-Becker as they were able to take home the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 59.57. 

Samantha Kamara and Angelina Tapia also both had impressive showings in the weight throw coming in first and second respectively in their first meet of 2023. Kamara was able to place first overall with a 15.46m in only her second attempt at the event.
