LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ – Rider University Wrestling will host perennial National Champion Penn State on Friday, Dec. 2, 2022, at CURE Insurance Arena in Trenton. The night of wrestling will commence at 5:30 p.m. with High School All-Star matches, with the Broncs and Nittany Lions set to square off at 7:30 p.m.
"We look forward to hosting Penn State at the CURE Insurance Arena in December," said Rider Head Coach

The Nittany Lions have won nine of the last 11 National Championships under wrestling legend Cael Sanderson. Sanderson completed his four-year collegiate career undefeated with four national titles at Iowa State, before moving on to win Olympic gold and build the Nittany Lions' dynasty.
"We are excited to showcase Rider Wrestling against a high-profile opponent in the CURE Insurance Arena in Trenton," said Rider Athletic Director Don Harnum. "This venue will allow for a much larger audience that will promote the Rider brand, provide a great test by competing against the defending National Champion, and continue to grow the sport."
