West Windsor, NJ –
The Rider University men's tennis team was defeated 6-1 at the Mercer County Tennis Center by the Loyola University Greyhounds. With the loss, the Broncs fall to 2-13, while the Greyhounds improve to 6-7.
Loyola swept the doubles with two wins and an unfinished third match. In the singles,
Pablo Salar Carrera took his match, but ultimately the Broncs would drop the match to the Greyhounds, 6-1, on Senior Day.
"The three-set loss haunted us all season, luckily we pulled 2 of those out today, which was encouraging. We will miss our seniors as this was our last home match. I hope they know they were part of something great here at Rider and their efforts will live on for life." - Rider Head Coach

The Broncs return to action Tuesday, April 19
th when they travel to Villanova, PA to face off against the Villanova University Wildcats. Matches are set to begin at 2 p.m.
