SOUTH ORANGE, NJ – The Rider University women's swimming and diving team opened the 2022-23 season with a 197-94 dual-meet loss to Seton Hall Saturday afternoon.
The Bronc women won three events in the meet.
The Broncs divers earned the top three scoring positions in the 1-meter.
Karyn Creelman (Mohnton, PA/Governor Mifflin) won the event in her Rider debut with a score of 177.68.
Maddy Altieri (Schenectady, NY/Guilderland) finished second with a score of 174.98 and Adrianna Raymond (Southington, CT/St. Paul Catholic) took third with a score of 149.10 in her Rider debut.
Logan Wilson (Muskego, WI/Waukesha South) won the 200-IM for the first victory of her collegiate career. She touched the wall at 2:12.92.
Gianna Farina (
Easton, PA/Notre Dame Green Pond) took second and
Meaghan Keegan (Jersey Shore, PA/Jersey Shore Area) was third in the event.
The Relay team of
Connar Melcher (Mohnton, PA/Governor Mifflin),
Maddie McSorley (Philadelphia, PA/Nazareth Academy),
Kylie McMahon (Annapolis, MD/St.Mary's), and
Giavanna Lupi (Vineland, NJ/Vineland) were the top scoring team in the 200-free relay with a time of 1:43.68.
