LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ – The Rider University women's swimming and diving team fell 227-69 in their home opener Saturday afternoon to Lehigh. The Broncs fall to 0-2 on the season, while the Mountain Hawks improve to 3-1.
Connar Melcher (Mohnton, PA/Governor Mifflin),
Sarah Fondacaro (Sewell, NJ/Washington Twp.),
Maddie McSorley (Philadelphia, PA/Nazareth Academy), and
Giavanna Lupi (Vineland, NJ/Vineland) took second in the 200-medley relay to start the day, touching the wall at 1:50.28.
Maddy Altieri (Schenectady, NY/Guilderland) took second in the 3-meter diving event with a score of 204.75.
Logan Wilson (Muskego, WI/Waukesha South) stopped the clock at 2:11.36 for second in the 200-IM.
