PHILADELPHIA – The Rider University women's cross country team finished second at the Temple Invite to open the 2021-22 season Friday evening at Belmont Plateau.
Senior
Teagan Schein-Becker (Trappe, PA/Perkiomen Valley) was the Broncs' top finisher, completing the 6,000-meter course in in 22:22.6, good for second.
Sarah Eskew (Dresher, PA/Upper Dublin) was next in sixth at 23:15.3, while
Mackenzie Greenfield (Old Forge, PA/Holy Cross) took eighth in 23:45.5.
Oliva De La Torre Coca (Sevilla, Spain/I.E.S. Fernando Herrera)(24:14.6, ninth),
Jordan O'Neill (Langhorne, PA/Neshaminy)(25:28.7, 12
th),
Haley Arguien (Churchville, NJ/Churchville-Chili)(26:03.4),
Grace Medei (Bethlehem, PA/Notre Dame Green Pond)(26:48.8, 20
th) and
Aubrianna Marranca (Exeter, PA/Wyoming Area)(26:49.9) rounded out the Broncs' finishers on the day.
