MONTGOMERY, NY – The Rider University women's cross country team finished first at the Jasper Invite Saturday at Twin Ponds on the Farm. The event featured four MAAC programs, with the Broncs finishing ahead of Marist, Siena and host Manhattan.
Senior
Teagan Schein-Becker (Trappe, PA/Perkiomen Valley) won the race individually, completing the varsity 6-kilometer course in in 21:40.7, good for first.
Mackenzie Greenfield (Old Forge, PA/Holy Cross) took eighth in 22:29:8, while
Sarah Eskew (Dresher, PA/Upper Dublin) was next in 12
th at 22:52:5.
Oliva De La Torre Coca (Sevilla, Spain/I.E.S. Fernando Herrera)(23:03:2, 14
th),
Jordan O'Neill (Langhorne, PA/Neshaminy)(23:21:4, 20
th), and
Haley Arguien (Churchville, NJ/Churchville-Chili)(24:11:1, 34
th), rounded out the Broncs' finishers for the 6 kilometer course.

Schein-Becker was the individual winner for the varsity 6-kilometer course, finishing in 21:40.7.
- Rider won as a team, with the first, seventh, 11
th, 13
th, 19
th and 30
th place finishers.
- Rider and Marist tied with 51 points each. But Rider came away with the win due to better average finish time of 22:41.
