GALLOWAY, NJ – The Rider University women's cross country team finished sixth at Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Championships Friday morning at Seaview Golf Course.
Teagan Schein-Becker (Trappe, PA/Perkiomen Valley) was the Broncs' top finisher, completing the 6K course in 23:22.91, good for 28
th place.
Iona won the title, finishing with 36 points, ahead of Siena (58 points), Quinnipiac (70 points), Monmouth (83 points) and Marist (104 points). The Broncs were next with 201 points.
Mackenzie Greenfield (Old Forge, PA/Holy Cross) was close behind Schein-Becker in 30
th place at 23:24.62, while Haley Arguin (Churchville, NJ/Churchville-Chili) was Rider's next finisher in 54
th place (24:22.31). Oliva de la Torre Coca (Sevilla, Spain/I.E.S. Fernando Herrera) and
Michaela Pampin (Sparta, NJ/Sparta) rounded out the Broncs' finishers in 64
th (24:34.87) and 73
rd (24:54.11), respectively.
