SMITHFIELD, RI – The Rider University women's swimming and diving team fell on the road to Bryant, 159-122, at the Chace Athletic Center Pool on Saturday.
The Broncs (1-5) suffered their third straight dual-meet setback, while the Bulldogs won their third dual meet in a row.
Rider claimed victory in five individual events.
Sophomore
Kylie McMahon (Annapolis, MD/St. Mary's) finished first overall in a pair of events. She won the 200 fly with a time of 2:09.82 and she also came in first-place in the 100 fly thanks to touching at 58.56.
Sophomore
Kayla May (Columbia, MD/Oakland Mills) was the other swimmer to win for Rider on Saturday, as she came in first in the 200 IM with a time of 2:11.94.
Senior
Meg Tomayko (Murfreesboro, TN/Siegel) won both diving events for the Broncs. She finished first overall in the 1M with a score of 246.30 and she was also first in the 3M with a mark of 251.63.

Kylie McMahon also added a second-place finish in the 200 IM with a time of 2:18.78.

Kayla May came in second-place in both the 200 free (1:55.50) and the 200 back (2:06.85).

Olivia Iswalt was second in the 50 free with a time of 25.02.

Maddie McSorley finished second in the 100 fly (1:00.36) and third in the 200 fly (2:13.84).

Maeve Lersch ended up in third-place in both the 100 back (1:00.03) and the 200 back (2:13.19).

Kyra Schwerzler was third in the 100 breast with a time of 1:10.48.

Giavanna Lupi came in third in the 100 fly with a time of 1:01.92.

Kellie Quinn finished third in the 200 IM at 2:22.50.

Rider returns to action on Friday, January 24, with a home dual meet against Lafayette that is slated to begin at 6:00 pm. Prior to the meet, the team will honor its seniors for their contributions to the program.
