Amanda Binder (Princeton, NJ/West Windsor Plainsboro North) forced a third set at No. 4 singles, but the Rider University women's tennis team fell to Loyola (Md.), 6-0, Monday afternoon. With the loss, the Broncs close out the season at 4-13, while the Greyhounds improve to 14-6.
Binder's match against Lin Robertson was the closest of the afternoon, but she fell, 6-1, 4-6, 10-7. An eight-game pro set was contested between
Angelica Garcia (Guaynabo, Puerto Rico/Academia Maria Reina) and Abby Decker at No. 3 singles. Decker took an 8-5 victory. No other Bronc took more than a single game in the remaining four flights.
Doubles matches were not contested.
