Seven Women's Cross Country Runners Named to the MAAC All-Academic Team

The Broncs were recognized for their work in the classroom

ALBANY, NY – Following the conclusion of today's Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Women's Cross Country Championship, the league announced the 2018 MAAC Cross Country All-Academic Team. This fall, seven Broncs were recognized for their work in the classroom. In total, 98 MAAC student-athletes were honored.

"We always value and celebrate the academic accomplishments of our student athletes," Rider Head Coach Bob Hamer said. "I am really proud that they make the effort to excel in their sport and in the classroom."

To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.
