HAMILTON, NY – The Rider University men's golf team wrapped up play at the Alex Lagowitz Memorial Invitational, hosted by Colgate University, on Sunday, finishing tied for 10th. The team shot a combined score of 306 following consecutive rounds of 301 on Saturday.
Sophomore
Jake Sollon (Venetia, PA/Peters Township) shot a team-best two-over 74 on the day, while freshman
Austin Devereux (Brielle, NJ/Manasquan) and junior
Eder Moreno (Madrid, Spain/Lander/Saint Helena) each shot 77 in the third round. For the tournament, Devereux was the Broncs' top finisher with a 10-over 226. Moreno finished a stroke back with an 11-over 227.

- The Broncs line-up consisted of freshmen Devereux and
Thomas Durkin (Suffield, CT/Suffield), sophomores
Jake Sollon (Venetia, PA/Peters Township) and Forest Swisher (Titusville, NJ/Hopewell Valley Central) and Moreno, a junior.
- All five Broncs shot between 74 and 78 in Sunday's third round. Behind Sollon's 74, Devereux and Moreno shot 77, while Swisher and Durkin carded 78's.
- Moreno shot the fourth-best score on the weekend on Par 4's at +1. Swisher shot the seventh-best score on Par 3's at +2.

The Broncs return to action Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 18-19, when they take part in the Hartford Hawk Invitational at Bulls Bridge Golf Club in South Kent, CT.
