DEERFIELD BEACH, FL - The Rider University wrestling team won one match and lost another match to finish the South Beach Duals with a final record of three wins and one loss.
The Broncs began day two of the duals with a matchup against fourth-ranked Missouri. The Broncs fell by a final score of 31-8.
J.R. Wert (Christiansburg, VA/Christiansburg),
Chad Walsh (Cherry Hill, NJ/Camden Catholic) and
Mauro Correnti (Delran, NJ/Holy Cross) all won matches in the dual.
The final dual meet of the weekend was the strongest for the Rider Wrestlers as they wrestled a shutout 44-0 victory over Franklin & Marshall University.
Notes
- Wert and Walsh both finished the weekend with undefeated 4-0 records. Correnti and
Gary Dinmore (Skillman, NJ/Hunterdon Central [Penn State]) also went undefeated, with two wins each.

Tyson Dippery (Harrisburg, PA/Central Dauphin) and
Michale Fagg-Daves (Somerset, NJ/Franklin) each won three matches to only one loss.
