What You Need To Know
- Rider will have its second of two straight home meets on Saturday, October 28, welcoming in MAAC foe Marist dual meet. The dual meet is the last at Coppola Pool during the 2017-18 season for the Broncs.
- The Broncs opened the year with a dual meet loss at Seton Hall before beating Siena and then falling to Lehigh at home last weekend.
- Following the first two weeks of the season, junior diver
Breanne Hatter was honored as the MAAC Women's Diver of the Week.
- On Wednesday, Hatter was once again recognized by the league as she named the MAAC Women's Diver of the Week for the third time this year. It was her fourth time receiving the honor in her career.
- Hatter continued her strong early season for Rider last week in a dual meet versus Lehigh. For the second meet in a row, Hatter won the 1M dive. She posted a score 265.27 to earn pivotal points for the Broncs. Hatter also finished third in the 3M dive event with a score of 247.50.
- Last weekend, the Broncs finished in first-place in four events.
- Rider had two of the top-three finishers in both the 1M and 3M diving events against the Mountain Hawks.
- Rider got a strong performance last weekend from freshman
Maeve Lersch. Lersch won the 100 back with a time of 59.13 and she also posted a second-place finish in the 50 free. Lersch has finished in the top-two in the 50 free back-to-back dual meets.

Tara Maniace and junior
Olivia Cann were the two other Broncs to win races on Saturday. Maniace won the 100 breast with a time of 1:08.30 and Cann came in first in the 200 back thanks to a time of 2:13.41.
- In the diving events, Rider got solid performances from the duo of junior
Breanne Hatter and freshman
Meagan Fornero. Hatter won the 1M with a score of 265.27 and Fornero came in third with a mark of 235.05. In the 3M event, Fornero earned a second-place finish with a score of 259.13, while Hatter finished in third with 247.50.
- Hatter has won the 1M in back-to-back dual meets.
- Fornero has finished in the top-two in the 3M in both of her appearances this year.
