BOSTON, MA---The Broncs won seven bouts to defeat Boston University in a Colonial Athletic Association dual meet Sunday afternoon, the final dual meet of the season. "It feels good to finish on a good note," said Rider head coach Gary Taylor, "and finish with a winning season."

For Rider (10-9, 4-2 CAA), freshman Jimmy Morris (Northport, N.Y./St. Anthony's), who is ranked third in the CAA, upset the top ranked wrestler in the CAA who is ranked 12th in the nation. "That was most definitely his biggest win," Taylor said. "Amateur Wrestling News had that kid ranked 12th. He wrestled incredibly well for seven minutes."

Sophomore James Brundage (Ossining, N.Y./Ossining) won by fall to give Rider a 21-0 lead. "James did a nice job getting that pin," Taylor said.

Sophomore Chuck Zeisloft (Woodbury Heights, N.J./Gateway), senior Jimmy Kirchner (Somerville), freshman Vinny Fava (Elmwood Park, N.J./Elmwood Park), sophomore Ramon Santiago (Sayreville, N.J./Sayreville) and freshman Clint Morrison (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cedar Cliff) also won for Rider.

"Chuck wrestled a very good match," Taylor said of his 125 pounder, "against a kid who has had some nice wins this year. I thought Chuck wrestled very well today. Ramon beat Tourville, and Tourville beat the kid from Hofstra who beat Ramon, so that was a nice win. Ramon looked a bit more like himself today, particularly in the third period. The score was tied going into the third period and he really picked it up."

Rider junior Jim Resnick (Media, Pa./Penncrest) ranked first in the CAA and 10th in the nation, was upset by the third ranked wrestler in the CAA. "Jimmy's been out for a while and he was winning the match but got caught in a cradle in the third period," Taylor said.  "Jim has beaten Czamecki before."

Hall, ranked first in the CAA and 13th in the nation, and Innis, ranked fourth in the CAA, won the final two matches for BU (13-7, 1-5 CAA).
