LAWRENCEVILLE--The Broncs swept Saint Peter's in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference doubleheader Friday.

Senior Scot Rich (Hamilton Square/Steinert) broke the Rider career hit record of 260 with two hits, including a triple, and scored all three of Rider's runs.
In the second game, Rider (23-27, 14-12 MAAC) scored four runs in the second inning on four hits, the biggest hit a two-run double by sophomore Mike Bruschini (Lawrence). Bruschini had two doubles in the game.
Senior pitcher Mike Rakoczy (Levittown, PA/Truman) was perfect through four and one-third innings, and recorded the victory to improve to 5-2 on the season.
