Dellavecchia has gone an undefeated 12-0 with a pair of tournament championships and dual victories over competition from No. 6 Minnesota and new conference foe Northern Illinois. Competing down a weight class at 157 this season, he began the month with a Princeton Open title. Included in his march to the title with a 4-2 decision over Princeton’s Quincy Monday, who was ranked sixth in the nation at the time of the match. After a pair of wins over Minnesota’s Carson Brolsma and Carson Brolsma of Northern Illinois, Dellavecchia won five-straight matches to take the Keystone Classic title. He bested competition from Appalachian State, Duke, Sacred Heart, Virginia and Franklin & Marshall en route to the championship. Â
