Medei kept momentum from an award-winning cross country season going into the indoor track & field season, breaking the Rider record in the 5000 meters at the Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener. Medei ran the race in 16:41.95, breaking Megan McGarrity’s prior record of 17:02.64, set in 2017. For her performance, Medei was also named MAAC Women’s Track Performer of the Week on Dec. 10.
