What You Need To Know
- The Broncs and Griffs are tied atop the league standings with a two-game cushion on the rest of the league and three games left.
- Rider and Canisius are meeting for the 48th time, with the Broncs owning a 34-13 edge in the all-time series. Canisius has won the last two.
- Rider has won a season-high nine-straight games, its first streak of as many games since the Broncs won 10 straight in 2007-08. The longest streak in program history is 16, established in 1930-31.
- Rider's streak is now the third-longest active streak behind Vermont (15) and Grambling (10) (as of games played Feb. 16).
- Rider's 13-2 mark is its best 15-game start in 21 years in the MAAC, two games better than the 2014-15, 2007-08 and 2001-02 teams' 11-4 records.
- Rider has won 20 games for just the 10th time in the 90-year history of the program. The team record is 23 wins (2007-08). Â
- Rider is currently No. 66 in the RPI (as of Feb. 15). Its highest ranking of the year, No. 62, came as recently as Feb. 9.
- Rider has won seven games this season when trailing in the final four minutes. The Broncs have also broken a tie in the final minute to win three times.
- Jermaine Crumpton leads Canisius at 16.9 points per game to go along with 5.3 rebounds per game. Isaiah Reese is close behind in scoring (16.2 ppg.) and leads the team at 5.7 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 2.4 steals per game.
