What You Need To Know
- Rider and Fairfield are meeting for the 64th time, with the Stags owning a 34-29 lead in the all-time series. Rider snapped a four-game Fairfield winning streak with a 96-77 win on Jan. 5 in Lawrenceville.
- Anthony Durham posted his first-career double-double with 10 points and a career-high 11 rebounds in a 60-57 win over Marist on Jan. 20. He also added a team-high five assists and blocked the Red Foxes' attempt at a game-tying three at the buzzer. 
- Dimencio Vaughn scored a career-high 34 points on 13-of-18 shooting, including 5-of-6 from long range on Jan. 18 at Saint Peter's.
- Durham has stepped up of late, hitting 25 of his last 32 attempts from inside the three-point arc. He also dished out a career-high seven assists vs. QU.
- Frederick Scott was named to the Lou Henson Award mid-season Watch List. The award is presented to the nation's top Division I mid-major player.
- Stevie Jordan has been solid all-around (13.3 ppg, 6.4 apg, 4.2 rpg and 1.8 spg). 
- Fairfield snapped a five-game losing skid with a 104-85 win over Niagara.
- Aidas Kavaliauskas has posted consecutive double-doubles for Fairfield, with 14 points in both games and 10.5 assists per game over the last two. He earned MAAC Rookie of the Week on Jan. 22.
- Preseason MAAC Player of the Year Tyler Nelson leads the Stags at 21.1 points and 3.2 assists per game. Ferron Flavors, Jr. (11.6 ppg.) has also contributed.
- Sixth-year Head Coach Kevin Baggett's teams have posted a 98-86 record and reached the MAAC Quarterfinals in each of his first five seasons. Baggett was the 2015 MAAC Coach of the Year.
